Saratoga Speedway continues to improve the program.
The inevitable challenges of re-development, engaging an effective and enthusiastic tech team and updating rules sets that have been manipulated and revised over several seasons will only be overcome through communication, diligence and patience. It takes a significant amount of time and effort to research technical regulations thoroughly to enact effective change that will benefit the program and ensure viability of the speedway for a long and prosperous run.
The meeting will provide racers, owners and builders with an opportunity to present ideas and requests for change/updates in an open forum and in person so that the speedway can hear directly from the community before convening the 2023 rules review committees and enacting updates for the following season.
Change requests and ideas will be discussed at the meeting and recorded for review by the rules committees; there may be some follow-up contact for clarification and it is expected that revised rules updates will be published in the form of either a completely revised rules set or an update sheet to accompany existing rules set. Any major changes will be posted as soon as possible in order to provide maximum time to comply.
The goal is to provide the community with an improved and clear set of updated rules that allow for some room to be creative in some areas while also preventing any deviation from set standards in other areas.
DUE TO VENUE LIMITATIONS the MEETING IS RESTRICTED TO OWNER/BUILDER/DRIVER OF REGISTERED CARS IN CLASS.
