A typical Summer Night Under the Racetrack Lights at Saratoga Speedway gets underway in the afternoon when the racers are on the track for hot laps dialing in their cars and checking out the competition. Spectators are encouraged to join us as the gates open for racing before qualifying gets underway (check the day’s schedule to confirm event times: they can vary slightly week to week depending on what classes are competing). Get your seat all warmed up and your favourite cold beverage from the Pepsi product line-up or from the R-Ace Gardens service kiosk and watch your favourite driver and pit team tune their racer up for the coming competition.

Hot-laps and qualifying continue throughout the afternoon providing fans a taste of things to come. Qualifying time trials set the racing order for the night and gives fans an idea of what drivers and cars they’re about to see in the heats and dashes which will take place immediately following the Opening Ceremony.
At the end of the trophy dashes and heats the line-ups will be announced; by then everyone will have their horse (car) car picked out! The main events get underway with the night’s feature races when each class get on the track in turn to duke it out and claim bragging rights and prize money and those all important championship points!!
Saratoga Speedway has a variety of different events throughout the racing season which runs from early May until late September. From Winged Sprint Cars and Late Models to Monster Trucks and Freestyle Motocross there’s something for the whole family each and every race weekend!
Major events include two Monster Truck Weekends, the Quinsam Sprint Car Classic with the Northwest Sprint Tour, the Reg Midgley Canada 200 and the $10,000-to-win Neil Montgomery Memorial and Northwest Sprint Tour championship weekend. Other crowd favourites include Boat Races, a Full-Sized Total Destruction Derby and other great events throughout the season.
